Got the job done
“I saw a lot of reviews say it didn’t work, so i have a try expecting the worst. I wanted to make a couple things clear: 1) I have gel tips (secured with UV cured glue), and then semi cured gel nail strips (ohora but also dashing diva since my nails are bigger and tips don’t help that) 2) when first doing the manicure, I did not apply anything between the gel tips and the strips—you really can’t, plus the whole point of a primer on your natural nail is to smooth out ridges. 3) I applied it around all the edges, waited a few minutes, and then started trying to lift the edge gently with a wooden cuticle pusher that also had a little of the remover on it. I won’t say it popped right off but clearly they were willing to come off. 4) I happened to touch scissors while the remover was on and it like picked up some of the black plastic on the handle? Very strange. So don’t be fooled by the non-acetone smell (it smells fine, I’m not making it my daily perfume or anything), it’s powerful, but I had no irritation that I felt or anything. 5) I waited a while to see if the tips wanted to come off too (nope, they still want acetone) before I cleaned them up and put on new gel strips for the week. All in all, very pleased, this was definitely my fastest “polish change” since I didn’t have to file off the gel nor hit it (and the tips) with acetone and start from bare nail.”
